In Fall of 2016, a group of Lehigh students from the Product Design 3 class worked closely with the National Museum of Industrial History to design and develop a variety of products that are inspired by different elements from the museum.
My product, this stool, was inspired by the wood patterns used by Bethlehem Steel to make many cast steel parts, to create a relationship of cold steel to the warmth of wood
